Just A Thought.

The husband has been asking me what I want for my birthday.  And for the first time, I am stumped. 

I honestly don't know.

Maybe I've become a bit conscientious when it comes to money.  Lately, I've noticed that when I see something nice, I don't feel the urge anymore to buy it.  Before, I used to go by my gut feel:  I gotta have it.  Of course, this was when I was making my own money.  LOL.  Now, with a mortgage to pay for, we've both become very watchful of the purse strings.   After all, the house and the bills won't pay for themselves.  

Ah, bills.  Where do I begin?  I don't bemoan them; they are simply a part of life.  But wouldn't it be nice if there was one month in a year where we don't have to pay for them?  Just one month, is all I'm asking.  One month of absolute freedom from sending out checks or making online payments.  One month of unadulterated bliss.

Wishful thinking, I know.  Haha.

In this case, for the coming new year jops, I wish you credit card bills that pay themselves off, fats that slough off after you politely ask them to, and friends who think you’re as wonderful a part of this century as, oh, skinny jeans or stilettos.

And yes, I wish I can have that month, too.

sakto jops, if we just don’t have to pay the bills… the money goes to your account every payday and transferred automatically to your creditors and utilities…

unsaon na lang ang birthdays? heheh! special gyapon. let B be creative hehehe! lami bitaw kaayo i pamper ta noh? panagsaay pero magsakit atong dughan kay gikuha ra gyapon sa inyong kaban. unsaon na lang?

as they, we all have to pay our mortgage (rent)…

I think the last time i saw you was at Jenny’s wedding in surigao. Good to know you living the American life now. A pleasant surprise really.

I share your fantasy. wouldnt it be nice to have both time and money. yeah freedom. he he he.

G, it’s never too early to have wishes for the next year. i am visualizing all that you’ve wished for me as early as now. that will give the universe enough time to readjust itself. ;-)
